Point of sale
In times of economic uncertainty, it is essential that all businesses maximise sales as much as possible. The most important thing is to find and advertise your unique selling point. In other words, the item, or items that you sell that make you different from the competition.
So many shops look the same from the outside but when you look inside, you will often find things that you would never guess as there is no signage. I recently discovered a mini cab business operating from a small corner of a general store.
Let your customers know
Pavement signs and window graphics are both cost effective ways of telling passers-by what you are selling. Also, for a small ongoing amount you can change these signs regularly which will keep potential customer looking and possibly buying. The same old sign soon becomes ignored.
Low tack window graphics will enable you to change your message easily, to keep it relevant. Likewise, a free standing A Board /pavement sign can accept a poster that is easy to produce and again easy to change.
And keep on letting them know
Once you have the customer inside the shop again if you have something different. A Korean deli, a selection of herbal remedies, or a good choice of vegan food, a well-designed sign hanging from the ceiling will help to draw attention to these products. Graphics on freezer fronts, special offer shelf signs and free-standing leaflet dispensers can all help to make a difference sales.
A good sign and graphic company will always advise on the right signs for you at no cost.
